What is Ksheerapaka?

Ashwagandha Shatavari Ksheerapaka is a traditional Ayurvedic formulation that holds significant importance in the world of natural healing.

How to Make Ksheerapaka?

Precise steps to ensure the maximum extraction of the herbs' essence. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to prepare this powerful Ayurvedic concoction:

Gathering the Ingredients

The key ingredients for  Ksheerapaka are Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus)

Cleaning the Herbs

Thoroughly clean the Ashwagandha and Shatavari roots under running water to remove any impurities.

After cleaning, cut the herbs into small pieces to enhance the extraction process during boiling.

Cutting the Herbs

Take a clean saucepan and add a cup of milk to it. To this, add the chopped Ashwagandha and Shatavari roots. You can also add other beneficial herbs like Brahmi or Vidari.

Boiling the Herbs

Gently heat the mixture and allow it to simmer on low heat. Keep stirring occasionally to prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Simmering the Mixture

Continue simmering the mixture until the milk is reduced to one-third of its original quantity.

Monitoring the Boiling Process

Once the mixture is sufficiently boiled, strain the decoction using a fine sieve or muslin cloth. This will separate the liquid Ksheerapaka from the herb residues.
